This policy describes how CallSpoof handles personal information when you visit callspoof.org, create an account, or use CallSpoof services.

01. Introduction

CallSpoof operates callspoof.org and provides VoIP and telecommunications services. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information in connection with those services, and applies both to visitors of our website and to users of our services.

Creating an account or using CallSpoof services means your information will be processed as described in this policy, on the legal bases available to us under applicable law — which may include performing our contract with you, our legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations, and, where required, your consent.

Note

CallSpoof does not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Information is used for service delivery, security, support, compliance, billing, and product and service improvement, as described throughout this policy.

02. Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of our services, and technical information collected automatically when you use our website or platform.

Note

CallSpoof does not collect or store complete payment card details, such as full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account credentials — those are handled directly by our payment processing provider.

03. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide access to VoIP and platform services
  • Process payments and maintain billing records
  • Route calls and operate the service
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain service and network quality
  • Send transactional communications, account alerts, and billing or service notices
  • Detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized access
  • Meet legal and compliance obligations, including valid government or legal requests
  • Improve our platform and services
  • Provide customer support through the channels available to you

CallSpoof will not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing communications without your appropriate consent where required by applicable law.

04. Data Sharing & Disclosure

CallSpoof does not sell or rent your personal data. We may share limited information with:

Service Providers

Infrastructure providers, NOWPayments (our payment processor), telecommunications carriers, and other vendors necessary to operate the service, under confidentiality and data-handling terms appropriate to the data involved.

Legal Compliance

Information may be disclosed where required by valid law, court order, or lawful government process. CallSpoof may provide notice where legally permitted and appropriate, but does not promise notification in every case.

Fraud & Security

Information may be used or shared where reasonably necessary to protect CallSpoof, our customers, our systems, our rights and property, or public safety.

Business Transfer

Data may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale or transfer of business assets, with notice provided where applicable.

Note

CallSpoof does not provide call records, SIP credentials, or personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated commercial third parties for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes.

After account deletion or closure, personal information is deleted or anonymized within the retention framework above, unless longer retention is necessary for legal, billing, security, fraud, dispute, or compliance reasons, or where information exists in backups or is subject to a legal hold.

06. Cookies & Tracking

CallSpoof uses essential, session-based authentication cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your account. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies — we don't operate an analytics platform of that kind.

Most browsers let you control or disable cookies through their settings. Disabling essential cookies will affect your ability to log in and use account-based features of the site.

07. Data Security

We apply a number of technical measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted HTTPS/TLS transport for data in transit
  • Passwords stored using a protected, industry-standard hashing algorithm — never in plain text
  • Controlled, restricted access to production systems

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you become aware of a security vulnerability affecting our services, please contact us at verify@callspoof.org.

08. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights including:

  • Right of Access — request the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Right to Erasure — request deletion of your data where legally applicable
  • Right to Portability — obtain qualifying data in a structured, machine-readable format where applicable
  • Right to Restriction — request limits on how we process your data in qualifying situations
  • Right to Object — object to certain processing, including direct marketing, where applicable

09. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to persons under 18, and CallSpoof does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 18. If we identify that we have collected information from a child, we will take appropriate steps to delete or restrict it, subject to our legal obligations.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. For material changes, we may provide reasonable notice through the website, your account dashboard, email, or other official communication channels where appropriate.

Continued use of our services after an updated policy takes effect may constitute acknowledgment or acceptance of the changes, where permitted by applicable law.

We aim to respond to privacy inquiries promptly — generally within 48 hours for initial acknowledgment, although complete resolution may require additional time depending on the request.
